Pre-Implementation Phase


During this phase of the implementation process,
~ you identify a high-priority need,
~ select an evidence-based intervention or practice to address the need,
~ and begin planning for implementation.

Many times, you may need to consider adapting this new intervention or practice to fit your context and processes and your stakeholders’ priorities and preferences.

Answer specific questions about the program and your environment to help gauge if you are ready to implement the program. Learn whether the program is right for you

Setting up a program for success

To increase the chances of successful implementation, it is important to involve the correct stakeholders, to understand the current environment (existing processes, roles, etc.), to plan for implementation, and to adapt the program/intervention/initiative to the site and staff needs. We will take a look at each one of these elements below. Learn about setting up a program for success
