Denver Fellowships
The Fellowship works closely with AcademyHealth as a national coordinating center to provide high-quality training and curriculum focused on Learning Health Systems (LHS) core competencies. The two-year Fellowship is designed to have novice PhD researchers develop and apply their research skills by completing a publishable research project. Emphasis is placed on one-on-one mentorship and peer interaction.
Denver offers both PhD and MD Fellowships and is led by Catherine Battaglia, PhD, RN and Christine Jones, MD, MS.

PhD Fellows will do so through healthcare improvement activities and projects, in addition to activities related to scholarship (e.g., manuscripts, presentations, grants).
The PhD Fellowship is chaired by Dr. Cathy Battaglia and affiliated with the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus.
